A demon with a curse

A demon with wings as dark as the night sky
with something missing and he has never been whole
He was also so dark and devious
when he was young he was tutored for his wings making them a curse  
A curse that will never be lifted from his soul
so one day he figured why not and started flying around
But what he never realized is that he kept going up and up
once he got too high for the gods like they shoved him down with a great force
Down to the water below him
he went under struggling for that rich air
To even wake up from this bad dream
but he never woke up for he is still lost in oblivion
Now even today lies a demon cursed by the gods
a demon with the wings as dark as the sky
